NEWSROOM CONTENTS:
Company History And Dr. Holden's Bio
Dr. Janelle Holden's love
of dentistry began when she was just a little girl, dreaming of becoming
a dentist one day.
Her career in dentistry started as a Dental Hygienist, working in a successful
pediatric dental practice in Beverly Hills, California. It is here where
she heard her calling; provide the best dental care for the most important
patients, children.
Dr. Holden returned to the University Of Southern California School Of
Dentistry where she earned her dental degree. She then completed her post
doctoral residency in Pediatric Dentistry at USC, Children's Hospital
of Los Angeles and Miller's Children's Hospital of Long Beach at Long
Beach Memorial Medical Center.
Dr. Holden now has a thriving practice in Manhattan Beach, California,
devoted exclusively to the treatment of children, from infants to teens.
She is dedicated to providing quality care for all children including
apprehensive children and those with special needs.
Dr. Holden has found that when a child has an enjoyable, rewarding experience
at their first dental visit, their entire dental life is positively affected.
With that in mind, her goal is to provide a caring, fun environment which
reflects her core philosophy to promote cavity prevention and help children
to enjoy cavity free lives.
By working with children everyday, Dr.
Holden has learned which flavors children respond to best when using toothpastes
and prophy pastes. This understanding of children's favorite flavors has
lead to the development of the Tanner's Tasty Paste line of toothpastes
for children. If children enjoy the flavors of their toothpastes, it is
likely they'll brush better and more often. And, if they brush better
and more often, they'll have fewer cavities!

I Scream, You Scream
We All Scream for Tanners Tasty Paste
New Ice Cream Flavored Toothpaste has Kids Begging to Brush
Sunny Manhattan Beach, CA For all generations, ice cream
has enabled parents to get children to do just about anything. Merely
the mention of favorite flavors, Chocolate and Vanilla can work magic
to coax kids to do whats good for them.
What could be a parents bigger challenge, than to get the children
to brush their teeth? The ordeal can delay bedtime, getting to school
on time, and even playtime, in a never-ending demonstration of escapisms
and rebellions. Its enough to make any parent pull out their hair
and SCREAM!
Well, now that whole brushing ritual, just got a lot easier. Tanners
Tasty Paste, the brainchild of a clever Pediatric Dentist, (whos
also a mom), comes to the rescue in a brilliant new product line of
anti-cavity, fluoride toothpaste that tastes amazingly, like ice cream.
No kidding, this naturally-flavored product tastes so good, that kids
actually initiate the brushing habit themselves, even asking to brush
twice in a row. All the while, parents and dentists marvel on the sidelines
with a big sigh of relief.
Janelle Holden, DDS, was determined to solve the childrens brushing
conundrum, as she observed the obvious in her busy Southern California
pediatric dental practice: Children, who brushed thoroughly and frequently,
avoided dreaded cavities. That was no mystery, yet the perennial problem
loomed. How do you get kids to brush?
Dr. Holden resolved the great quandary, once and for all. She created
toothpaste that is irresistible. The first and only Ice Cream Flavored
Toothpaste, Tanners Tasty Paste is a wish come true for children
young and old.
Available in the two most favorite ice cream flavors vanilla, Banilla
Bling and chocolate, Cha Cha Chocolate, Tanners Tasty Paste products
are now available nationwide. Banilla Bling, (banilla is how most kids
first pronounce vanilla) is as creamy delicious as your favorite vanilla
soft serve. Cha Cha Chocolate, (a childs first utterances of chocolate)
is the budding chocoholics answer to brushing nirvana.
The products are non-foaming and contain no Saccharin, Sodium Lauryl
Sulfate, artificial flavors or artificial colors. They are naturally
sweetened with Xylitol, shown in studies to help reduce plaque with
regular use. Cha Cha Chocolate and Banilla Bling Tasty Pastes retail
for around $5 for a 4.2 oz. tube. Tanners Tasty Pastes are sold
at discerning pediatric dental offices throughout the country, as well
as select pharmacies, specialty, gift stores and spas. Consumers can

Tasty New Vanilla Ice Cream Flavored Toothpaste
Banilla Bling Scores A Hit With Today's
Cool Kids and Teens (Manhattan Beach, Calif.) -
Dr. Janelle Holden was frustrated. Considering that fluoride toothpaste
was readily available, she was seeing far too many cavities in her busy
pediatric dental practice in Manhattan Beach, California. And, if truth
be told, she was encountering the same problem of getting her own children
to brush regularly as she was with her patients.
The issue, she discovered, is that the kids didn't like the usual toothpaste
taste. Rather than the usual nagging, she and husband Joe Tanner set
about learning what flavors kids and teens really took to, often trying
them out with her patients. Banilla Bling, a zingy vanilla ice cream
flavored toothpaste from their company, Tanner's Tasty Paste (www.tannerstastypaste.com),
was born. "The reasoning behind Tanner's Tasty Paste Banilla Bling,"
says Dr. Holden, "is that if children enjoy the flavors of their toothpaste,
they'll brush better and more often and they'll have fewer cavities."
Banilla Bling packs the sweet flavor of vanilla ice cream with all the
things parents and the dentist like: cavity-fighting fluoride, natural
sweeteners, plus a gentle abrasive to cleanse the teeth. What it doesn't
have is saccharin or sodium lauryl sulfate which has been suspected
of causing mouth sores in children.
Apparently, it's working. Youngsters all over Manhattan Beach are reaching
for their toothbrushes without prompting. "As a mom and a children's
dentist, I've seen how Banilla Bling really gets my kids and patients
brushing."

- Why Kids Hate Brushing Their Teeth
The Daily Struggle Against Cavities Solved with
Hip New Flavored Toothpaste Kids Really Love
(Manhattan Beach, Calif.) - Your kids may not
tell you, or even know why themselves, but, according to a Manhattan
Beach pediatric dentist, it's the toothpaste they dislike.
As any parent knows, getting their youngsters
to brush regularly after meals often lapses into nagging. What if kids
looked forward to brushing .... as a treat?!? "Traditional toothpastes
are too minty, have an aftertaste, and foam too much for a child's small
mouth," explains Janelle Holden, D.D.S. who runs a busy pediatric
dental practice in Manhattan Beach, California. "Even the kiddy
character toothpastes are too 'bubbly-gummy' for kids' tastes."
Frustrated at her own inability to get her patients
- and even her own children - to brush as often as recommended, Dr.
Holden was seeing far too many cavities in youngsters that could have
been easily prevented with longer, more frequent brushing at home. To
remedy the situation, she created Banilla Bling, a vanilla ice
cream flavored toothpaste that her young patients loved. "I tried
out many flavors with the kids and the vanilla ice cream one won far
and away," says Dr. Holden. "Better yet, parents were reporting
back to me that their children were asking to brush again and again
with the new toothpaste. When youngsters really enjoy the flavor of
their toothpaste, they will brush more often and better and have fewer
cavities."
Banilla Bling packs the sweet flavor of vanilla
ice cream with cavity-fighting fluoride, natural sweeteners, and a gentle
abrasive to cleanse the teeth. Dr. Holden eliminated any foaming agents
in Banilla Bling; kids describe it as "melting in the mouth."
The new toothpaste does not contain sodium lauryl sulfate, the foaming
agent which also has been suspected of causing mouth sores in children,
and has no saccharin, artificial flavors or colors. "But it is
the delicious vanilla flavor that keeps them eagerly brushing."
In touch with Banilla Bling's beach community
origins, the package features a surfing boy and girl "riding the
flavor wave" - a visual cue that also boosts regular use among
children and teens too hip for the usual kiddy toothpastes. To reduce
the risk of cavities in children even further, Dr. Holden suggests avoiding
apple juice and any sticky fruit snacks and leathers and substituting
white grape and pear juice or raw apples instead. The sugar and acidity
of high carbohydrate and sugary foods linger on the teeth and are hard
to dissipate. She also recommends having toothpaste and toothbrush in
the kitchen to make after meal brushing handy. Until children can rinse
and spit on their own, about 4 - 6 years old, parents should assist
the brushing routine. For very young children and infants, wipe their
teeth with a soft cloth and water, especially behind the front teeth.
"And never let an infant or child go to sleep with a bottle of
apple juice or milk," says Dr. Holden.

Just in from satisfied Tanner's Tasty Paste customers!
My Daughter's Science Project
I just wanted to let your company know that my daughter, did her science project on toothpaste. She wanted to know which one made teeth whiter.
Her hypothesis was that Banilla Bling would work best since she got it from her dentist.
She dunked eggshells in coffee for 30 minutes and then dried them off. She then used a clean toothbrush for
each toothpaste and brushed the toothpaste on the coffee stained shell.
She tried 4 different brands, Colgate, XyliWhite, Tom's and Banilla Bling.
Tom's looked like it was going to win, but when she tried the Banilla Bling, it by far and away was the best. She called it spectacular. It worked so much better than the other 3 that both my daughter and I are now using it exclusively.
nd, to top it off, her project won the Science Fair for her grade level. It is now going on to Regionals at the Austin
Convention Center in a couple of weeks.
Thank you for making such a wonderful product!
Wow! I just love Tanners Tasty Paste! When I was at a dental appointment, I came across it on the shelves! I bought it in the Cha Cha Chocolate flavor and it is soooooo amazing! Thanks for bringing Tasty Paste into my life!
